New Year, New IssueFeatured in In the Daily Buzz - Jan 03, 2010 Kristen Cook Happy 2011 to everyone! I want to hear about your New Years celebration. Assuming you were in town, what do you do to welcome in the new year? I know there were more then a few bonfires in order to celebrate this year. Keeping, of course, with small town tradition. Now we're officially looking at a long stretch until Easter. Personally, I start looking for distractions to keep me busy for the remainder of the winter months.
I Love Creston, the publication, is doing a great job this month. I was excited to view the feature. Natalie Santano is a photographer I've been visiting on Facebook for a long time. I enjoy looking at the beautiful photographs featured on her page. Natalie has photographed several of my friends over the last few years. The results have always been excellent.
That's not all, though. Annette's health column is written in rhyme! There was also an interesting piece that takes the look at the experiences of a Korean war vet.
So, as you get ready to send the kids back to school and wait out January be sure to stop by and check out the website where you can read these, and so many more. As usual, there's something to interest anyone. Comments| posted by: tienna | 2011-01-03 07:10:28 | New years celebration - Game night with the kids (including Twister, Sorry and multiple Wii games). Kids passed out @8:30 and we passed out @11:25. I came to realise 'my husband and I are getting old'. Our eyes were watering and we couldn't do anything right. MUST BE over tired! And as we come into the new year, my brain resets itself. Take me signing in to read and comment on this site - I had totally forgot what my pass word was and had to get a new one e-mailed to me... I'd be darned if I couldn't even put the new one in correctly... *SIGH* I hope back to work isn't as tough. Easter is a LONG way away.
